And we're back~
I fought with myself over what sort of inner dialogue to include on this page. In the end I decided to keep it all light... because it is an action page after all. So hopefully it works.
Anyways, hope you like :)
Thanks for checking in ^_^

The good old question.
I have never actually seen the villain to say screw you because I am dead anyway so I am not helping you!
They always spill the beans :D
Haha. Maybe it's a pain-threshold-threat thing? Ie : tell me and i'll let you die in peace. Don't tell me and i'll make your passing as horrible as possible.
That still doesn't explain why self-destruct mechanisms always start to go off as soon as a villain is defeated though, haha.
Why do they have self-destruct mechanism in the first place?
I mean yeah, getting rid of the proof but it is still funny.
I made a little fun of the concept that space stations ALWAYS have that protocol ready!
Or the villain explaining the whole plan.
There are things people label as lazy or bad but I actually like these tropes. Cheesy and classy.
@Madjack91
Evidently, all of *those* villains never read the Evil Overlord's Handbook.
https://eviloverlordhandbook.blogspot.com/
"Imagine you have a henchman and this henchman betrays you. What would you expect them to do next? What would you do?"
"Obviously, I would immediately dispose of them since they can join the heroes. Better yet, a proper villain knows how to keep their henchmen!"
...
"Hm hm. Okay. You will hear from us in a week. Thank you."
How's he suppose to talk with a chest full of what ever that is Jay stuck in there. I'd think the only thing coming out of his mouth will be bubbles of blood. But not for long.
Well, there's always sign language! Be creative, now!
Haha or perhaps the grey-skinned weirdo is modified in some way to talk despite large bladed objects shoved into his chest. Who knows! hehe :P
@Jamie59
Even though panel #3 looks like Jay impaled him on the left side of the chest & panel #4 looks like he's impaled on the right side, in both cases the wound is up high; above the top of the lungs.
Also, the wound is on one side, not really interfering with his air pathways. He should still be able to talk quite well.
It seems Jay has learned how to aim his throws well, as he knew he'd need *someone* alive & able to answer questions.
There are several comparisons to be made between Major Hart and Captain America. One thing they don't share is Cap's insulation from having to kill--despite being a soldier. Major Hart has no such luxury.
I've always imagined Captain America as having his hand forced to kill on occasion, especially during WWII. A couple of stories mention killing Nazis, and Bucky on occasion mentions shooting them.
I've never pictured Cap with a no-kill policy though, at least not in the league of say, Superman/Batman, etc.
Jay absolutely does not have a no-kill policy though. A big difference between him and Cap would be Jay's actions / faction arguably ending up on the wrong side of history, at least in his view. Though I guess it always depends on what side you're on :P
That being said i'll tell you right now i'm a huge Cap fan :) so it stands to reason that some of that ideological viewpoint would rub off ;) I'm also a big fan of the 'just-a-man-vs-overwhelming-odds' trope, so there's that in there as well, haha
Maybe it says something about me rather than everyone else, but the angle you've chosen to show the impaled bad guy makes it look like he's waving his Schlong about.
