Running through a war zone in her underwear, abandoning her partner, and having an emotionally conflicted inner monologue meltdown?
It's a proper Alice adventure.
Oh well. At least the exercise will do her good!
Enjoy ^_^ Thanks for tuning in!

The thing I wondering about is her feet. How long has it been if ever has she run or walked on that kind of surface barefooted?
Eh, running half undressed through an abandoned city sector is probably just a casual Tuesday for Alice. She should be just fiiiiine
Yes. In the future, Banksy goes through quite the chibi anime phase.
I'm reminded of that old joke: If you talk to God you're religious, if God talks back you're schizophrenic.
LOL!!!! well, at least she knows in her mind that she's not being reasonable. I've done this myself...my mind says.."you're doing something stupid" but I ignore my mind, and KEEP doing the stupid thing.
Yuuup. Sometimes being steadfast and resolute is a great thing!
Aaaand then there's all those other times, haha.
Being alone is not enough, since then she just picks a fight with her own brain.
I know it's a lot of work, but I really appreciate all of the little details you add to your backgrounds, Mars. Graffiti, power/communication line, rubble, detailed door access panels, the lighting...it's all a great visual for what life in Atropos for the average person looks like.
As for Alice...she shoulda taken a right and looked back, she missed the devilish interpretation of KATE. :D
I'm getting there!! It's still far from what I wish it was (I love the clutter/chaos of things like Cyberpunk's aesthetic) but slowly but surely!
I'm excited to get to some more populated areas of Atropos. Been watching Star Wars/Andor lately and it's got me hankering to add a bunch of colorful characters to the background, wearing ragtag outfits and such
"Art is never finished, only abandoned." -Leonardo DaVinci
For what it's worth, Mars, I always assumed that the reason the streets were empty was because either the people have fled those areas or they are hunkering down out of sight, trying to avoid getting mixed up in anything. Civil wars, uprisings, or what have you, are never the friend of bystanders, innocent or otherwise.
Oh 100% that's why the streets are/have been empty in this chapter thus far. Alice+Anna are in a warzone / lockdown zone where civilians either aren't allowed or have fled
But eveeentually they'll be in a more populated area, and i'm excited to do that up (taxing as it's going to be, haha)
She's armored with rage and adrenaline. She'll survive!
Side note - it pained me to draw her running barefoot like this, because I have some weird issue with my own feet where I can NOT walk barefoot on a rocky/bumpy surface (like a rocky beach) without absolutely dissolving.
It seriously kills me haha, I either have to wear shoes/sandles, or I just can't function. Probably a name for it.
