Anna's seen some shit, man. She's not afraid to jump into the fight and get messy, and she may have a point here. Or, she may not.
Does Jay try to have his cake and eat it too? Has Alice lost her edge, too caught up in the politics of the situation to let loose with the old raygun?
At any rate, ya'll got like 8 pages of Anna kicking people in the face, so now you gotta oblige one thinly veiled political page ;)
Sorry for the wait on this one. Takin' a bit longer than usual to hammer these out. Takes a lot for me to thin out the rambling thoughts and dialogue I start with and sift down to the bare bones and get it to fit onto a page like this sometimes. I always want to get more into Atropos, the history of the world (and characters like Anna) and so forth, but always end up with little windows like this instead of massive exposition. For good or bad, who knows.
See what I mean about rambling thoughts?
ANyways - enjoy! More on the way!!

I happen to like rambling thoughts myself, but then I'm prone to them myself, so I had better like them. ;) That being said, I think it fits Anna's character that she is focused, articulate and no nonsense. She's been abused by a system that doesn't serve the best interests of those who are governed, something I suspect most of us can understand to varying degrees. I'm really interested to see if she believes in any kind of governmental structure, as Jay does, or whether she's a full blown anarchist. I suspect she's not, otherwise she'd be more like Alice, but I think the hurt runs so deep in her that she can't understand Jay's perspective at this point.
One thing is certain though, we need people like Jay, Anna, Alice, Malcolm and the rest of the gang, because they all have valuable insight into life from their own experiences that can help shape the future and, hopefully, make it one better than the present.
