As you may, or may not have heard, up in British Columbia, Canada, we've recently had some issues with logging in old-growth forest areas.
THE ISSUE has been going on for... ever? But recently it's made headlines yet again.
Long story for out-of-towners : Basically BC, in the Vancouver Island area, has 'Old Growth' forests with trees that are hundreds, or thousands, of years old. And we're logging them for cash+economic reasons, as always. Some folks, myself included, say leave the forests alone, and damn the economic consequences/etc. Some more involved people go into these forests, chain themselves to trees, get roughed up and arrested for their efforts in an attempt to halt the logging. I'm a fan of those efforts, and I also like drawing pinups - so I thought i'd make up a pinup to sell to donate some cash to them.
THIS is the group I found that seems the most involved/legit. You can also facebook 'em (Under the unusual name "Rainforest Flying Squad")

Anyways, long story short : I made a drawing, if you want to buy a digital print of it, go for it. I'm going to donate whatever money it makes to the above website. It's not official, i'm not affiliated with that group in any way, nor am I doing some intricate charity drive. I'm not writing off tax deductions and I won't be sending out verifications that the donations happened - you can simply buy the print and trust me to donate the cash, or don't. Just a fun project that'll maybe bring a hot meal to someone camped out in the trees.

Anyways, aside from that, regular comic updates will continue on Sunday.
