Translation "If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself."
True? Or just overly controlling? Hmm.
Remember waaaaaay back when Kate gave Malcolm a little NEWS update?
A small action with big consequences. The kind of consequences Jay Hart foresees and prevents, but that Alice ignores entirely.
So now she's getting a new asshole torn open - does she deserve it?
At this point, probably honestly.
Also, Jay's got a fancy new glove.
All this and more, expanded upon in upcoming pages, coming soon! Haha.
Thanks for waiting for a new page :P I'll try to get the next one done a little sooner

Never.
To be honest it was weird drawing this page.
A very large, very angry man yelling at a much smaller, scantily clad female, felt strange. Especially because story-wise it was important to me to convey that Jay is truly very angry/has a very angry underside that he has been, to this point, good at keeping restrained.
Anyways, Alice has been driving at this response for a while - and though she may be surprised at what she's unlocked, she's no stranger to angry outbursts herself, and of course she knows Jay would never hurt her.
Hmm, I am very definitely of two minds about this current situation. On the one hand, I think it is about time Jay gave Alice a reality check, but on the other hand, I think he might be carrying his conclusions a bit far. Given that he's spent most of his life being frozen, thrown into wars to stop them and then refrozen, it does not surprise me in the least that he believes it's his job to clean up messes, so I can't fault him for that, but I also think he's suffering from a bit of PTSD or guilt (maybe both) for having killed those "punk kids". I don't have a lot of sympathy for them, honestly, because they did provoke an unknown quantity and take the first shot, but that doesn't make a difference to a soldier, they remember who they kill, and even if they forget individual faces or names over time, they still remember the feelings, which means that Jay most likely has a LOT of emotional baggage in that department.
Ultimately, I think that Jay will end up doing the right thing, but it's going to be a bumpy ride for everyone and they're going to need time to sort out their emotions. I feel bad for Alice, because she's not really mentally cut out for these sorts of situations, but perhaps she'll even out a little, mental healthwise, once the situation with Jay and Atropos has been resolved.
Spank her? He could have done that, but not only is this less violent, but also more effective.
