YesterdayDoll? YesterDollbound?
Anyways.
Have I ever shown you gals and guys these dolls?
Every year on my birthday, my girlfriend painstakingly spends way too much time making me one character from my oft-talked about comic (I mention it once and twice to her in real life)
But I digress ; the real point of this post is to clarify something :
"Where are the updates, Marshall?"
Well, lemme tell ya what i've been up to :
My girlfriend and I are buying a place for the first time. Utter chaos.
The location is dependent on her job location, and we didn't know where that would be by the end of July, which was when our rental lease expired.
So till things sort, we're shacked up staying with my mom.
Pleasant as things are, we're living out of boxes in a less-than-convenient manner, and i'm also filling in at a full time capacity at a print shop to shore up some quick cash for the move and figuring out financing details and making 3 hour trips to see landlords and -
You get it.
So the TL;DR of that TL;DR is :
September is going to suck. I get like, an hour to draw at best every night.
But October 1st I should be happily back to art full time. And I can't fucking wait.
So thanks for sticking with me. I'mma try to update with some stuff this coming month, but it's gonna be spotty at best!!
So bear with me! And thanks for all the support and just everything, everyone. I truly do appreciate you all.
~Marshall Reeves
Update : things are returning to normal. If I don't have a page up this week, it'll be next sunday FOR SURE.
Stay tuned.
I appreciate the heads up, and good luck with the move! Buying a home, especially for the first time, can be quite the ordeal, especially if you don't have a stable living space until it's time to move in, or savings to rely upon during shortfalls. Even after the closing it's going to be a big adjustment, so I hope it goes well for both of you!
Needless to say, I'll be checking in periodically to see what you've got cookin'. The story is currently on a good cliffhanger scene, so I don't mind the delay when I know it will continue. :)
