I figured as a mid week post, i'd share some personal thoughts and artwork.
Having my own comic/characters/story is something i've always wanted to do, but i've never considered myself "good" enough to really accomplish anything close to "professional" standard in the comic world (as I imagine them).
I started drawing this comic about a year ago as somewhat of a 'jump in head first' practice run - so the pages I post have been finished for a little while now.
The above two panels are taken from some of the newer pages i've been making for a more in depth, longer, very involved graphic novel 'book 2' that would have been impossible a year ago.
I've cleaned up a lot of weakness in my artwork since the current story (at least I think so!) such as anatomy, backgrounds, flow, etc, and everything is so much tighter... plus i'm establishing a 'universe', more characters, setting. All very fun.
I'm not sure what i'll do when the current story arc comes to a close. I do very much enjoy the webcomic format, but it would also be cool to move into more traditional printed forms. Maybe even sell some copies, or at least find a way to support spending a little less time at work, and a little more time drawing.
I'm still very new to the whole realm of independent comics, and if anyone reading this comic has any ideas or thoughts you wanna share, i'm always open to hear em'. Drop me a PM :)
Any ways, I just felt like sharing some thoughts, and wanted to thank everyone for their positive feedback. I'd love for Yesterdaybound to become a 'thing' someday that actually has some clout... so i'm just going to keep at it and what will be will be!
So enjoy the sneak-peak shot of Alice and Jay! Same characters, modernized art!

Don't be so self-deprecating - the artwork's great - better than 90% of the stuff on Fury !!
Haha thanks guys!!!
I didn't mean to sound too self deprecating ~ just happy with the improvements i've made / looking forward to learning even more as time goes on ^_^
