Oh, Jay/Romeo, it's been two chapters, but Alice is still never letting THIS go.
So here we have the standard case of shooting a robot girl in the head from a space ship with an anti-materiel rifle fired from a standing position. No big deal.
But now the others are gonna be mighty peeved. Second shot might not be so easy...
Anyways, hope you liked! Am thoroughly enjoying drawing this chapter. I'm experimenting with a lot more things now that i've gotten comfortable with some of the basics. Gah, I dunno. I'm in a good mood today.
Anyways, make sure to SUBSCRIBE if you haven't already! :D
Thanks SO much for checking in ^_^
Peace out~
Marshall
Heh :D
That four bubble exchange in the middle is what pretty much defines how these two work now! Cool!
Control towers then. Gotta shut KATE down somehow and that seems to be her weakness.
Yep - time to stop screwing around and deal with her at long last.
Someone has to step up to bat :P
It's like ultimate Skeet Shooting : Advanced difficulty mode!
Anti-material rifle?
I'm not in the know, I'm sure, but the only place I've heard that mentioned before is in the Mass Effect series. If that's the inspiration, then keep on using awesome references. ;)
Actually ~ such rifles do exist, and have for about a century!
High powered, large caliber rifles that were once used to shoot holes through tank armour in the World Wars until tank armour became too thick to penetrate. But even today they are used vs vehicles, ordinance, and so on.
Haven't played Mass Effect, but i'd assume they are high strength, armour busting weapons in the game as well :)
Aha, so "anti-material" is basically a generic term for a weapon that shoots armor piercing rounds. I guess that would mean, for example, that the depleted uranium rounds fired by A-10s (the "Warthog"), or the sabot shots from tanks are "anti-material".
In context of Mass Effect (a sci-fi RPG series from BioWare), there is a special rifle that shows up in the second & third games called "The Widow" that is described as an anti-material rifle, and it is specifically for penetrating heavy armor. For many enemies, one shot/hit from that rifle is an instant kill. It's great for players who want to have a bit of sniper action.
