One down.
As seen earlier, Kate is susceptible to conventional weapons. Essentially as energy / external force is pumped into her, her system must accommodate to maintain her physical presence in the new hostile environment, and the extra stress on the system can overload it if there's enough chaos happening to her. Basically the larger the hit, the larger the feedback and the greater the 'injury' in a sense. A rocket launcher, for instance, put her out of action for a few moments as she dealt with the blow.
But that was on the fringes of the city, where she was weakest. This is Kine-Tech's HQ - they're gonna have to throw more than an RPG her way to fuck her up this time.
So there's a little bit of fun-fact for how I imagine K.A.T.E. works :)
Will the rebels manage to slow her down this time? Is there another plan in the works if they can't?
Stay tuned!
And speaking of tuning in, thanks for doing it today! Remember to subscribe! if you haven't already :)
Alrighty! Have an awesome week!
Peace out

Would hope they have another plan. While "Kate" is solid enough for weaponry to disrupt her, would not that always be just temporary until the image is reloaded? The projector, not the avatar, is the real target. But given her range about the countryside, even that is likely distributed nodes instead of one central power supply. Keeping the avatar knocked down long enough to get to the "local" nodes, so you can have a Kate free zone, may be rather difficult :}
Ideally, you'd wack her out first temporarily so she'd be unable to defend the projectors.
Then you take them out and she wouldn't be able to project weaponry into the world.
But if it were that easy... she wouldn't be a superweapon, would she?!
Maybe the rebels are just doomed and the next few pages will be them getting slaughtered 1 by 1 and then it's "The end" :D
Or maybe not ;)
I'd think it'd be better to hack her at the back end. There has to be a computer running her.
But she's a vastly advanced A.I. powered by supercomputer - the assumption being that you'd have to be one hell of a hacker to screw her up :D
Assuming she doesn't run Norton antivirus as a defense, that is. Then she'll just freeze and crash halfway through this fight.
I really like your comic! ^^
One best quality i have ever seen.
