Love that timeline. Gives some depth to KATE, for me at least. Now the question is this: where is KATE on the AI spectrum, and what safeguards have Kinetech implemented to keep her under control?

It's interesting to see how long KATE has been in service, especially considering how the crusty General Governor treated her a few pages back. It explains her overall ability to interact with humans in a very fluid fashion, but also brings up questions as to her true level of sentience and the degree of controlled that is placed upon her. After well over a decade of service, KATE certainly has to have developed some reservations (to say the least) over her treatment.
Really looking forward to finding answers as the story develops!
